Porcelain Veneers are an instant rejuvenation for the cosmetic appearance of teeth.
Porcelain Veneers provide a new front surface for teeth and can improve the colour, shape, surface, position and length.
Porcelain Veneers can be used individually on only one tooth, many teeth, or can be used to enhance an entire smile.
Empress and Emax Technology
Smile Artistry™ utilises Emax and Empress™ Pressed Porcelain Veneer Technology to create very accurately fitting Porcelain Veneers. Porcelain Veneers are very versatile and can be used to change the colour, size, shape and position of unsightly teeth. They are very strong when bonded to teeth and very natural in appearance. Once bonded, Porcelain Veneers become the outer facing of the tooth, and correctly bonded Porcelain Veneers will never come away. Master ceramists hand-craft the veneers combining artistry, science, training and knowledge of materials to whiten severely discoloured teeth, close gaps, align crowded teeth or even reposition protruding teeth. Porcelain Veneers can give an 'Instant Orthodontic Straigthening Effect' without the need for braces.
Veneers are the 'absolute best standard' in creating beautiful Smile Masterpieces® for long lasting changes to your smile (as long as the underlying tooth health is good).
Example - Single Front Tooth Porcelain Veneer
This lady had yellowing Bonding (filling) on a front tooth placed at another Dentist and it had chipped more than three times. Using a Porcelain Veneer we were able to better match the appearance of the other teeth, but also improve the strength and prevent chipping.

The Porcelain Veneer Procedure

The tooth is drilled back across the front surface (sometimes no drilling is required), creating space for a thin Porcelain Veneer. After the Porcelain Veneer has been created, the Porcelain Veneer is bonded to the tooth surface permanently.
