A 'records appointment' involves our Dentists taking a more in-depth look and record of your mouth, including x-rays, photographs, models, facebow and bite records, phonetic tests and perform a functional and detailed Dental Examination.
The records allow our Dentists to develop a comprehensive treatment plan that will ensure that Smile Artistry™ meets with your needs and concerns and provides a stable long-term healthy mouth!
Your Records Appointment involves:
- Digital Photographs in a Smile Artistry™ Photographic Sequence
- Digital and Wet X-Rays
- Facebow Records to record the position of your teeth in your face
- Detailed Impressions and models of your Upper and Lower Teeth
- Functional Bite Records to analyse how your teeth fit together
- Phonetic tests
- Functional Dental Examination
The Cost of your Records Appointment is dependent on the extent of Records that are required in your case, and during your Initial Cosmetic Consultation your Dentist will give an indication of an approximate cost for the records.
Subsequent to your records appointment your Smile Artistry Dentist will perform a functional analysis of your mouth and bite and discuss this with yourself so that you understand the benefits and limitations of having a Smile Makeover. At the following visit, your Treatment Presentation, our staff will show you the results of the Records and offer a Treatment Program to address your concerns. At this stage, if you wish to proceed with your Recommended Treatment Plan and Schedule then our Treatment Co-ordinators will be able to arrange the neccessary appointments.
