The Cosmetic Consultation
The Cosmetic Consultation offers you your first opportunity to meet our team in a relaxed and informative manner. We will listen to your needs, assess your problems, offer general options of treatment and answer your questions. At this appointment or at a subsequent appointment we can make tooth models, take radiographs and photographic slides, record phonetic positions as well as make a detailed examination of your dentition.
Realistic Smile Imaging
We can use the latest in computer imaging technology to help us design your smile. However, we often prefer to complete a laboratory wax model of your proposed smile as this is a more predictable way of ensuring what you can expect and what is achievable. We take great care to show you only predictable results. A Diagnostic Wax-up Model is a model of your current teeth that has had your teeth altered in shape, position and orientation showing the new proposed tooth shapes, sizes, positions and orientations.
Treatment Presentation
Our Dentists analyse all of the collected data from your cosmetic consultation to create a detailed report of stages in your treatment sequence. This appointment is at no cost to you and provides a detailed breakdown of costs and options. You will be shown your tooth models and photographic slides and a thorough discussion of what you can expect during different stages of treatment.
Treatment Planning
We like to emphasise that you are under no obligation to accept the proposal with regard to your individual treatment plan. Should you choose to accept the treatment plan and proceed, we then organise a treatment schedule. Appointment times are organised and financial arrangements are discussed at this time. Our treatment plans are valid for a period of six months from the treatment presentation date.
Smile Artistry™ offers the most up-to-date treatment and technologies. A Smile Artistry™ Treatment Plan is both detailed and has all options listed, so that you, as our patient can make informed decisions on which treatments are more important to you. Our Dentists will of course give you guidance and reassurance that whichever treatment you are having preformed, the treatment will have a good long-term lifespan.
