Dental Implants
Dental Implants are natural-looking replacement teeth.
With modern advances in techniques and computer software, even when teeth have been missing for many, many years, Dental Implant Placement surgery is possible.
Between three and six months after Dental Implant Placement, your tooth is ready to be placed onto the Dental Implant.
In cases of many missing teeth, combinations of Dental Implants, Porcelain Crowns and Bridges and Dentures can be utilised to give a customised, healthy, natural looking result.

Bridgework
Bridgework requires sometimes one, but usually both adjacent teeth to a missing tooth to be used for support of the replacement tooth. Careful assessment is necessary and we now use combinations of Porcelain, Zirconia, and PFM (porcelain fused to metal) technology to create our bridges with properties of exceptional strength and beautful aesthetic results.
On particular occasions, we can provide bridgework that appears to sit naturally into the site of a newly extracted tooth. Careful soft tissue management is necessary to provide what is termed as an Ovate Pontic design. On other occasions, preliminary soft tissue augmentation can provide a similar result, where gum tissue is moved to create shapes of gum tissue around the missing tooth area that appear as though the tooth is not even missing.
