More About Dental Implant Costs
Dental Implant Costs vary depending on the available bone, number of missing teeth, and materials used. To provide a detailed and accurate quotation we need to complete a full assessment of your mouth. By providing this detailed quotation you can feel secure that Smile Artistry will give you a five year guarantee on all care provided.
Additional Costs
Dental Implants may involve additional costs:
- Temporary teeth – Where the implant is not stable enough at placement, temporary teeth will be required. This may involve a temporary denture or a bonded tooth stuck to the adjacent teeth.
- Implant Surgical Guides – To guide the Dental Implant into its best position, in larger or tricky areas a guide may be required.
- Bone Grafting – when bone size or thickness is not sufficient for a Dental Implant, then a bone graft will first be required. Bone Grafts vary in price depending on area, bone type used, and anaesthetic requirements.
Smile Artistry Dental Implant Services
Dental Implant Treatments replace missing teeth, loose teeth and badly broken teeth. They are a fantastic treatment to give you normal and healthy teeth again.
However, Dental Implants need to be well looked after. When your new Dental Implant teeth are delivered this is not the end of your treatment. To get the maximum life-time out of your Dental Implant Teeth it is very important to have:
- Good Daily Home Dental Hygiene
- Limit Grinding
- Regular Check-up and Cleaning Appointments at Smile Artistry
- Regular relining of Implant Dentures
By addressing the above points, your Dental Implant Treatment will be long-lasting and save you costs in the future.
Dental Implant Brand
At Smile Artistry we utilise and support only the major brands on the market. We recommend Biohorizons Dental Implants due to their unique body design and strength and aesthetic qualities. We use on merit, the following systems including: Biohorizons, Biolok, Nobel Biocare, 3i Biomet, Implant Direct, Astra and Straumann. There are many brands of Dental implants used outside of Australia, and Smile Artistry is unable to offer treatment of Dental implants in these cases.
Cost Comparison
Appropriate Dental implant Care begins with well-engineered treatment plans based on sound scientific rationales. There are always many ways of performing different treatments and at different cost levels. Our commitment at Smile Artistry is to provide treatment plans engineered for the long-term and not for just a short-time. Techniques to place a full jaw of teeth on only four implants may have a lower up-front-cost, but if only one implant was to fail, so will all of the teeth. In proper engineering to last, significantly more implants would be able to ensure the success of the teeth even if an 'unlikely' (2 in 100) dental implant failure was to occur.
