Dr John Bacalakis
Dr John Bacalakis is a Principal Dentist at Smile Artistry, providing patients with treatments involving all aspects of dentistry including Cosmetic Dentistry, Dental Implant Dentistry, Rehabilitative and General Dental Care. Dr John Bacalakis completed his Dental Degree at the University of Queensland in 2003, receiving Honours, and has been providing Dental Care to his patients at Smile Artistry since this time.
Dr John Bacalakis has completed advanced studies in all facets of dentistry, and this is reflected in his studies in the areas of general dentistry including dental and tooth implants, cosmetic dentistry, bite management, decay management, lasers and root canal treatment.
Dr John Bacalakis is currently undertaking programs in Cosmetic Dentistry and Advanced Rehabilitative Dental Care with Dr John Kois at the Kois Center in Seattle, USA. Dr Bacalakis has completed programs at the Kois Center and include Interdisciplinary Treatment Planning, Functional Occlusion, Restorative/Periodontal Interface, Biomechanics 1 and Biomechanics 2.
Dr John Bacalakis has completed programs in Dental Implant Surgical and Prosthetic areas at the prestigious Misch International Implant Institute in the USA. Dr John Bacalakis is an accredited member of The Australian Society of Implant Dentistry and is also a member of The International Congress of Oral Implantologists
In 2009 Dr Bacalakis attended the Nobel Biocare Implant Scientific Symposium. He has previously attended the Asia Pacific Symposium for the World Clinical Laser Institute. Dr John Bacalakis is trained to provide the latest in Computer Guided Dental Implant Surgery with all major dental implant systems.
