This Gentleman's Front teeth had been traumatised when he was young. The Front Tooth (right side on photo) had been root canal treated, but on examination had now broken and required removal. The Bad Tooth had an old, existing Post-Core Crown which due to its poor fit had split the tooth into two pieces.
After removal of the front tooth, an immediate Dental Implant was placed. After a longer than usual healing period of five months, the final crown was placed on the Dental Implant utilising a Customised Gold Abutment to help give correct gumline contour. The other Front Tooth also had a Porcelain Crown to help give colour, shape and size symmetry between the front teeth.
