Missing Teeth - Patient Four - Dental Implant Replacement Tooth
This Gentleman had a loose baby tooth that he had retained into his late fifties. As the tooth had finally resorbed to the point that it was mobile, he wanted to replace it with a structurally sound strong replacement tooth.
A Dental Implant was placed immediately when the tooth was removed because the surrounding bone was suitable and strong. In other cases when the bone is not so strong, then a bone socket grafting procedure is required.
After the Dental Implant was integrated a gold abutment and Porcelain (PFM) Crown was placed on the Dental Implant. The final x-ray here shows how the Dental Implant fuses to the bone.
Treatment:
- Dental Implant
- Porcelain (PFM) Crown
