Worn Teeth - Patient One - Laserbrite™ Teeth Whitening, Porcelain Crowns
This young man had an Orthodontic Problem where his teeth had an edge to edge relationship resulting in gross tooth wear. He was only in his early twenties and had so much wear due to the way his teeth fitted together. He underwent orthodontic treatment to change the positions of his teeth and to create potential for a FURTHER “RESTORATIVE ORTHODONTIC EFFECT” to be utilized.
By placing PFM Porcelain Crowns to rejuvenate his tooth shapes, the process was able to create some overlap (overbite and overjet) of his teeth. This new bite situation, together with a properly constructed canine protective bite guidance, will reduce future grinding damage greatly.
This treatment has provided this patient with an enormous boost in confidence and undoubtedly improved the long-term prognosis for his dentition.
